DreadTober 2017 Follow Up

Since there was a little time yesterday I wanted to give people the final hours to wrap it up.. we got a few more final completions ..

DreadTober 2017 Final Showcase!

DreadTober 2017 Final Showcase

Well... October has come and gone and along with it so too has DreadTober. We had a lot of awesome projects started and most were able to complete them by months end. If you weren't able to finish up it's not a big deal.. it's awesome that everyone takes part and I hope it helped motive people. It's more of a community project that helps people reach out and make some new friends or find some new awesome blogs.

I put together the completed (plus those pretty close) and made up the final showcase of the work.. Please give their work a look see .. you won't be disappointed!

Svartmetall - He went with a Camo Sentinal with some nice weathering ready to spark up that flamer and melt the foes of the Imperium.

Silvertabby - Sadly didn't get it 100% complete but hey it looks good! .. liking the way the skin turned out. Very nice work!


Rory - His Hellbrute Oathbreaker is ready to take field and make his presence noticed to the ruinous powers in the Long War!

The Leviathan Dread is huge! I loved the look of the model and I'm pretty happy with him. There is still a little more to do on him and I didn't want to rush it so I had to call him done for now.

I hope everyone had a good time this year. Sorry if I missed anyone! It was tough to keep up with updates as they were on numerous platforms haha.. Thanks to everyone who sent me over notifications of updates it really helped! If I missed your work on the final showcase please let me know and I'll do a follow up tomorrow but I'm cutting it off at tomorrow! October was crazy busy for me and November looks to be even crazier ..

Happy Halloween all!!!..  it's the final day of DreadTober and I see a lot wrapping it up! .. I got some more of my own done but didn't want to rush it so I haven't finished up the weathering .. but .. this month has been nuts for me so I haven't had a ton of extra time ...

Sincain I didn't get him 100% done but he's pretty close..  I didn't get to really do much of the weathering .. but his is where he sits as of the end of DreadTober haha...

I'm going to keep going through the work and posting up completed Dreads tomorrow as people still have one more day to wrap it up.. I hope people had fun and it gave them motivation to get some dreads knocked out !

Hey guys .. I'm going through and trying to update all of the participants page with the latest images and man is there some nice stuff out there.. some people have even finish up a bit early..

Mortian knocked out his 1K Sons Contemptor in typical fast fashion. Looks awesome man!

Ed also knocked out his Dune Crawler and it's looking pretty sweet.. nice work!



Hopefully today I'll have all of the participant updates done. I even have some stuff of my own to post up. I've been crazy busy but want to get it finished up so I'm not slacking!

Week two down and three incoming!

Hey all! I hope everyone is have fun and making some good progress on their projects!

I have returned from my Disney Vacation and yikes was it tiring! The kids loved it and we had a great time. I'm rested up and trying to get through the updates from last week.

We had a few new people join up before I left and they have made good progress!

Xeno for the Win's - Grenn Dal got some work done on his Nids Tentacles ..

WeeMen has made some good progress on his Deredeo Dread..

Dave continues to rock on his DreadKnight! it's really looking good..

I'm still catching up but I'll put out another update within a day or two..  and I need to get some work done at the table myself haha.... keep cracking on peeps !!!

One Week Down..

Happy Friday all! I hope everyone has had a great first week of DreadTober and are digging in.We are up to 37 participants and there is some nice work going on!

Just as a reminder I'll be away at Disney World starting tomorrow and won't be back for a week. I let Greg and Joe know so we should be good 8) ..

Moving on up

Hey hey!! .. It's only four days into DreadTober and we are seeing some awesome progress!!Check out Dave's work, he's going pretty ambitious but he's already got a good start!

I've added a few more participants that have come through in the past couple of days. If you don't see your entry pop up immediately don't worry.. I'll get to them as fast as I can 8)

The guys over at Stepping Between Games are all in and have getting geared up.
