I have been crazy busy with work this week, so only managed to post a couple of finished projects in Part 1. It is time to take a look at the remaining Dreadnoughts and celebrate the wonderful efforts everyone has made.

This classic Iron Warriors dreadnought brings back lots memories from playing 40K back in the 90's. Rory has done a great job painting this one, particularly the energy effect on the power scourge. I love the base too, it looks like the Iron Warriors have totally wrecked that city!

Neverness has done a great job showing this vintage Furibundus Dreadnought the love it deserves. A dead chaos marine on the base is nice finishing touch (the more the merrier). I lode the old conversion beamer as well. It wasn't long ago that I used one of those on a Techmarine dread for DreadTober!

Gerard has added the final touches to a pair of ghoulish Deathguard Contemptors. The shading on these and the gross fleshy bits are unreal. Absolutely fantastic work on the bases too (ewww). Well done, mate!

The idea of collecting some 30K 1st Legion units has been growing on me and this project has probably tipped me over the edge. I may very well do a Contemptor like this next DreadTober; it looks glorious! Bonus points for all the free-hand checkered patterns ;-)

It has been lovely to see Joe get his family involved in so many projects this year. A good reminder that our most important projects in life aren't made by Citadel. We may not get all of our models 100% completed, but the time we spend with our family and friends working on them is 100% worth it. That's what DreadTober is all about (well, that and Dreadnoughts, of course).
I don't quite have the necessary words to describe this project. It is epic in its scale, unashamedly over the top in so many different ways. Hagia Sophia is arguably the largest project completed in DreadTober's history and looks fabulous.
Mike was very close to finishing this Contemptor just before the deadline. I'm hoping that he will have a final progress photo in time for the 2022 gallery, so keep an eye out for it.
Da Masta Cheef has weathered the heck out of this Tau commander as promised. I really love the use of some custom parts on this Firestorm suit, the fragmentation launchers look boss.
Dave's deliciously disgusting bloat drone made an appearance in Armies on Parade at the end of the month. I think you will agree that his display is spectacular! If you get a chance next year, Armies on Parade is a great event to be involved in. Bonus points if your display includes a DreadTober project ;-) On a serious note, I think it would be hard to find a better painted DreadTober project this year.
Iron within, iron without. Wachtmeister has completed this Iron Warrors Contemptor with multiple weapons options and a natural-looking base that complements the model so well. Clear bonus points for using hazards stripes!
This is a beautiful paint scheme for a Space Marine Chapter. Cylde has done an amazing job bringing this pair of dreads to life. Again, the basing for these models is very impressive. The charming use of some very... urban... elements makes me giggle on the inside. Bravo!
Einarr made a great effort to complete this kitbashed Grot Jaegar-Kan before the deadline. It is such a fun model, it really does make me want to paint more orks. Well done, mate!

Project: Varied. I've got a number of things going that could qualify, including a kitbash inspired by Mission: Dreadnought from Space Crusade, a couple of converted True Mechanicum Robots, and a take on a White Scars Venerable Dread that I'm pretty sure is unique!

WestRider has amazed us with DreadTober creations this year. To cap things off, we have an updated version of the classic Chaos Dreadnought from Space Crusade. If those eyes aren't a gateway to hell, I don't know what is.
I hadn't had a chance to check out Siph's blog during the week, so it was a very happy surprise to see that the Imperial Knight Preceptor was finished this weekend! The paint job is fantastic and I love the addition of the Sir Hekhtur.
Floyd managed to finish this classic Blood Angels Dreadnought in the nick of time! I am still hoping to see a banner go up at some point; nothing says old school 40K like a big fat banner. Again, terrific basing, particularly the ork skulls (the more the merrier). I love these old Castraferrum Dreadnoughts so much, I may need to get another one...
Kushiel had originally planned to get seven dreadnoughts painted by the end of October. Let me just say, painting five dreadnoughts in 31 days is huge achievement. Bravo!

The Wardens in White were a pair of Dark Angels Dreadnoughts that guarded the Chamber of Passageways in The Rock. They were only ever unleashed on the battlefield in times of great need, and even then only one at a time. During a recent chaos incursion both were tragically destroyed, though no daemons made it passed them to gain access to the deepest secrets of The Rock. My project this year was to create a new Warden in White Redemptor, armed with a plasma incinerator and graviton mace. The Dark Angels were never going to leave their secrets unguarded for long...
DreadTober is complete for 2022!!! I owe a huge debt of gratitude to everyone who has participated this year, particularly Dave Weston who provided the wonderful challenge banner and posters. As a final gift, he has also made this badge for us to display on our blogs to celebrate the event:
