DreadTober First Week In !

Well the first week of DreadTober us down and it looks like people are busy getting some nice work done on their projects!

Neverness has his Dread together and Primed.. looks like it's ready for paint.


Dave M is ROCKING! .. he's got his Dread built, primed, base coat and base started..  He ain't messing around! Check his blog out for all the awesome details!


Dave W has some nice progress as well on one of his Knights with some very cool base work!


Rejects of Anvilus Looks to be getting some work done.. I'm not an Instagram wizard so having some troubles getting his pictures to appear haha

Hey all! ,. October is here and that means DT projects have started to progress..  It was a busy weekend so today I'll be checking most of the sites and downloading pictures of the latest work and adding them to the participant list.

DreadTober First Update

Hey all.. We already have some sign ups and I've gone ahead and added everyone so far for to the participants list. Once October starts and the pictures start going up we'll be adding some of the pictures to the list.

Yesterday I also only really wrote it's coming and how to enter but there may be some new people that want to enter and aren't sure what they can enter..  it's pretty much any Dread / Walker / MC .. a model bigger then normal single models... so if you have something that's been sitting in the closet or in a box or just on a shelf that looks at you sadly.... forlornly ..  as you pass by and reach for some other model.. maybe it's their time! "Out there it's their time.. but here, here .. it's our time". Or maybe it's that brand new shiny model that you've always wanted and now have a reason to get and paint.. DO IT .. DO IT NOW! (Best Arnold voice).

DreadTober 2018 is coming!

Hey Peeps.. it's almost October and you know what that means! It's DreadTober!!!!

This year Joel ( http://mordian7th.blogspot.com/ ) and I are going to work on getting this all updated. Sorry it's coming in a bit late but we were trying to figure out how we were going to handle it.

DreadTober 2017 Final Showcase!

DreadTober 2017 Final Showcase

Well... October has come and gone and along with it so too has DreadTober. We had a lot of awesome projects started and most were able to complete them by months end. If you weren't able to finish up it's not a big deal.. it's awesome that everyone takes part and I hope it helped motive people. It's more of a community project that helps people reach out and make some new friends or find some new awesome blogs.

I put together the completed (plus those pretty close) and made up the final showcase of the work.. Please give their work a look see .. you won't be disappointed!

The Leviathan Dread is huge! I loved the look of the model and I'm pretty happy with him. There is still a little more to do on him and I didn't want to rush it so I had to call him done for now.

I hope everyone had a good time this year. Sorry if I missed anyone! It was tough to keep up with updates as they were on numerous platforms haha.. Thanks to everyone who sent me over notifications of updates it really helped! If I missed your work on the final showcase please let me know and I'll do a follow up tomorrow but I'm cutting it off at tomorrow! October was crazy busy for me and November looks to be even crazier ..

Happy Halloween all!!!..  it's the final day of DreadTober and I see a lot wrapping it up! .. I got some more of my own done but didn't want to rush it so I haven't finished up the weathering .. but .. this month has been nuts for me so I haven't had a ton of extra time ...

Sincain I didn't get him 100% done but he's pretty close..  I didn't get to really do much of the weathering .. but his is where he sits as of the end of DreadTober haha...

I'm going to keep going through the work and posting up completed Dreads tomorrow as people still have one more day to wrap it up.. I hope people had fun and it gave them motivation to get some dreads knocked out !
